What was first known as the Mack Truck Company Denver Branch, established itself in Denver, Colorado, in the 1930’s.  The store was was located in downtown Denver in the area known as the 'Golden Triangle' today.  . In 1952, the factory-owned branch relocated to its current facility at 4850 Vasquez Boulevard.  

Colorado Mack Sales & Service, Inc. was started on September 1, 1989 with Gerald Hugo as principal owner and President. On that date, the Mack Truck Company, as part of a corporate restructuring plan, sold the Denver branch to Gerald Hugo’s new company, Colorado Mack Sales & Service, Inc. 

Mr. Hugo had worked for Mack Trucks for 21 years in various marketing positions as well as branch manager of their Indianapolis and Chicago stores. As of 2008 he offers 40 years of Mack Trucks experience to the dealership.

In 1991, a second truck franchise, Mitsubishi Fuso medium-duty trucks, was added to the product offerings at Colorado Mack Sales & Service, Inc.  Fuso trucks, with their superior medium-duty trucks, compliment Mack's heavy-duty trucks and round out the dealerships offerings.   

In 1993, Bulldog Truck Rental & Leasing, Inc. began its operations.  The purple and silver logo of Bulldog Truck Rental & Leasing was created in the spirit of the Colorado Rockies Baseball team who came to Denver to play ball the same year.  Bulldog Truck Rental & Leasing offers daily rental trucks suitable for all types of applications and as a member of Mack Leasing System they have a full-service lease package that will take care of all of your needs with one monthly payment.
